Our goal is to create amazing eyebrows, blushed lips, and lash line enhancements however the procedures are not recommended for everyone. To prevent any complications relating to your overall well-being, please review all the information below: requirements; contraindications; and medications to avoid before your appointment.
Proper preparation for your appointment will also help to achieve the best possible healed results so be sure to prepare accordingly.
Appointments typically last 3-4 hours; babies or children can’t be present during your appointment, so please make necessary arrangements in advance.
It may be helpful to come to your appointment wearing your makeup as you normally do. Doing so helps in communicating the desired results.

Pregnant or nursing

No Botox treatments should be done 2 weeks before or 4 weeks after procedure
No chemical peels 60 days before or after procedure (brows will peel quicker due to chemicals traveling under the skin)
No Retinols/Retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams, or serums containing acids as these will fade brows prematurely
Do not work out or sweat heavily the day of the procedure (or 2 weeks after)
Do not tan or have a sunburned face the day of the procedure
Stop taking aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil, CoQ10, and ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure
No alcohol or caffeine 24 hrs before procedure
No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!)
The skin must be free of all irritations including ingrown hairs, blemishes, eczema, and psoriasis. Do not work out the morning of the procedure.
For your new brows to heal properly and look their best, following the Pre Care Instructions are of the utmost importance. The instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will dilute the pigment color and lead to poor results.
If you have ever had a cold sore, even once, you will want to get an anti-viral such as Acyclovir or Valtrex prescription from your doctor and take this 5 days before your appointment and 5 days post. Not doing so can result in a breakout on the entire lip area affecting the healing process and may cause pigment migration.
Do not work out morning of procedure.
NO alcohol, caffeine, or stimulants day of procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!).
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil/Ibuprofen, or any other blood thinners 48 hours before procedure.
Avoid Fish Oil, Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Collagen, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), and “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements for a minimum of 48 hours before procedure.
Discontinue Retin-A, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) at least 6 weeks prior
Must wait for a minimum of 3 weeks after lip filler/injections before getting lip tattoos.
Wait six months after the lip implant and get written clearance from your surgeon.
Expect moderate swelling, usually one to three days following the procedure. Scabbing may make the lips feel thick. Lips will fade up to 50% after the first 5 days. While healing, the tattoo will look patchy. This is due to skin regeneration and healing. Two or three sessions may be required to achieve the desired results. Please be patient. Cosmetic tattooing is a multiple-step appointment process with a healing time of approximately 6 weeks in between touch-up appointments.
MUST have discontinued use of lash-enhancing serums 6 MONTHS before scheduling. Serums cause thinning of the skin around the eyes. Failure to wait 6 months can cause irreversible scarring and increases the risk of pigment migration.
Bring your contact lens case and glasses.
Purchase a brand new tube of mascara for after healing is complete. DO NOT USE YOUR OLD MASCARA.
Do not work out the day of your procedure.
Do not have lashes tinted or permed/lifted at least 3 weeks before or after treatment.
Have Lash Extensions professionally removed? Do not attempt to remove it at home to prevent damage to your natural lash.
Arrive to the appointment with no eye makeup.
NO BOTOX or Cosmetic Filler for 2 weeks before or after the appointment.
If you have had any eye surgery in the past 12 months, please bring a Dr. approval letter.
Discontinue ANY eyelash enhancing serums 6 months before the appointment.
Discontinue Vitamin A and Retinol products for 1 month before appointment.
Discontinue Accutane 12 months before appointment.
Avoid Alcohol, Caffeine, Pre-Workouts, and Energy Drinks for 24-48 hours before appointment.
Avoid all blood-thinning medications/supplements for 7 days before your appointment. See Above List. If you are unsure of one of your supplements or medications, please call your Artist for clarification.
Care instructions will affect how quickly or slowly you heal. Mature age, poor diet, stress, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, age, general health, sleep/fatigue. The more fatigued you are the lower your immune system is and infection is more likely to occur. Please get plenty of rest and drink lots of water to hydrate before procedure.
Your 1st touch-up is 4-8 weeks after your initial appt and is around 2 hours. Some might need a 3rd session, otherwise, we recommend annual touch-ups.
